Comodoro inició 2025 con un temprano crimen de un chico de 21 años en una pelea. Durante todo 2024 la ciudad registró siete homicidios.
El caso se dio a las 6 de la mañana del 1° de enero en el barrio Laprida, y este lunes un hombre de 33 años fue detenido como sospechoso del asesinato del joven identificado como Maximiliano Cifuentes.
El detenido tiene antecedentes penales por diversas causas, por estupefacientes y contra la propiedad, según detalló el jefe de la Unidad Regional de Policía de Comodoro, Freddy Vera.
Esto también marca el primer homicidio en la provincia, que cerró 2024 con 28 crímenes. En Comodoro y Trelew, la mayoría de los asesinatos fueron resultado de conflictos entre grupos delictivos, ajustes de cuentas o cuestiones internas, como en este caso.
La División Policial de Investigaciones llevó a cabo allanamientos y arrestó al presunto autor , recuperando ropa con rastros de sangre y otros elementos relevantes para la investigación. El detenido fue trasladado a la Comisaría 2°, donde permanecerá hasta la audiencia de control de detención.
Desde el Ministerio de Seguridad y Justicia se comunicó que los resultados de las medidas fueron informados a la doctora Azul Romero del Ministerio Público Fiscal, quien autorizó el operativo bajo la supervisión de la jueza penal local, Lilian Bórquez.
