El gobernador del Chubut, Mariano Arcioni , declaró la Emergencia en los Servicios, Divisiones y Secciones de Cirugía y/o Clínica Quirúrgica del Hospital Zonal de Trelew por otros 6 meses . Por intermedio del Decreto No 67/2023.
La decisión del Gobierno se centró en un análisis de la situación del servicio de cirugía. Advierte que los esfuerzos por llegar a una solución a la situación generada por los profesionales de la salud que presentaron su dimisión en forma masiva, la que motivó la declaración de emergencia efectuada por Decreto 155/22, no se llegó al objetivo propuesto, continuando los profesionales con su tesitura de renunciar al servicio.
El Ministerio de Salud, informó que viene realizando esfuerzos para resolver la cobertura del servicio a través de reemplazos o mediante la incorporación de nuevos profesionales, solución que se ve dificultada por la cantidad de cargos a suplir en tan corto plazo .
En el informe que detalla el decreto, se aclara que la postura asumida por los cirujanos incide en la evidente disminución de cirugías programadas , por la negativa de algunos de ellos a brindar respuesta a los pacientes, resultando en algunos casos imprescindible su derivación a otros hospitales y/establecimientos privados de la zona.
Desde el Gobierno provincial, aclararon que continuará abierto el espacio de diálogo , tanto con los citados profesionales como con la asociación que los nuclea, para llegar a una solución inmediata.
En el artículo 4 del decreto quedó establecido que, durante el período de emergencia, quedarán suspendidas las renuncias de los médicos cirujanos que cumplen funciones de la especialidad tanto en el hospital como en todos los centros asistenciales que dependen del nosocomio, hasta que otro profesional acepte desempeñar las mismas, o sea aceptada su renuncia .
